1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or booking any service from Machado Lawn and Yard Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Our Services

Machado Lawn and Yard Services provides residential and commercial property maintenance services across Hamilton and surrounding areas, including seasonal clean-ups, overgrowth removal, lawn mowing, tree and vegetation trimming, SOD installation, mulching, over seeding, interlock re-sanding, house soft washing, and power washing.

We reserve the right to decline or modify any service request based on site conditions, safety, or scheduling availability.

3. Estimates & Pricing

We provide free estimates based on the information you share and, where possible, an on-site assessment. Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Final pricing may be adjusted if the scope of work differs materially from what was originally assessed.

Any promotional discounts, including seasonal offers, apply only to qualifying services and are subject to the terms communicated at the time of booking.

4. Booking & Scheduling

Service appointments are scheduled during our operating hours: Monday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We are closed on Sundays.

We strive to arrive within the agreed service window. Unforeseen circumstances such as severe weather may require rescheduling, in which case we will contact you promptly to arrange an alternative time.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of the agreed work unless other terms have been arranged in writing. We accept the payment methods communicated at the time of booking.

Repeat contract clients may be subject to separate agreement terms. Late payments may be subject to additional charges as permitted by law.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a service call fee to cover travel and scheduling costs.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to weather, equipment issues, or other circumstances beyond our control.

7. Insurance & Liability

Machado Lawn and Yard Services is fully insured. Proof of insurance documentation is available upon request before work begins on your property.

While we take every precaution to protect your property, we are not liable for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, or damage to items not disclosed to us prior to service. Our liability is limited to the value of the services rendered.

8. Client Responsibilities

To ensure safe and efficient service, clients agree to provide clear access to the work area, disclose any known hazards (such as hidden obstacles, pets, or underground utilities), and secure pets during service where required.

Clients are responsible for ensuring the property is safe for our team to access and work on.

9. Website Use

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Machado Lawn and Yard Services and may not be reproduced without permission. You agree not to use our website for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage or disrupt the site.

10. Third-Party Services

Our website may include links or integrations with third-party tools. We are not responsible for the practices, content, or availability of these external services.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
